Our Story

The Carpenter Company is a locally owned carpentry business serving Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Puyallup, the Key Peninsula, and surrounding South Sound communities. David and Heidi Vegh moved to Gig Harbor in 2016 and are grateful to live and work in the community they serve. They are raising their four children—Jonah, Isaac, Harlo, and Emmy—and love being part of the local community.

David has been working in carpentry since he was a teenager and brings more than 25 years of experience in cabinet installation, finish carpentry, custom woodworking, built-ins, and detailed trim work. His work is known for precise craftsmanship and careful attention to detail

Over the years, David has had the opportunity to work closely with well-known designers, cabinet makers, and home builders throughout the South Sound, helping bring high-end residential projects to life through expert installation and finish work.

Heidi manages the administrative side of the business, including client communication, scheduling, and marketing.
